Monday night had a spectacular sunset so last night I made the effort to me and my time-lapse gear out and onto the top of a local hill. The hill is called Dunnideer and only takes about 20 mins to climb. On top are the ruins of a hill top fort dating from 1300 BC. I thought it would make a very interesting "Holy Grail" time-lapse subject. I used the TP-Link MR3040 to connect my Nikon d7000 camera to my iPad by wifi and the qDslrDashboard software to control the shutter speed (and also the iso if needed). It was indeed a spectacular sunset and well worth the effort to get there. I haven't processed the sequence yet but the photos give you an idea of the scene.
